As the end of the semester approaches, we all get busy. The holidays, activities, college applications, financial aid, and school work compete for our time.
Try to keep up with your deadlines, but remember to take a moment, breathe deeply, and don’t let all the stress get you down. If reading helps you relax, check out a book to read over the Thanksgiving or winter break. If you need a book suggestion, pick up a genre bookmark or ask Ms. B for help.
Are you a DACA recipient?
If so, you need to take action.
- USCIS is not accepting any new applications for DACA.
- If you have DACA status, it is still valid until it expires.
- Applications for DACA recipients to travel abroad and re-enter the US, also known as advance parole, are no longer accepted. If you travel outside of the United States, you will lose your DACA status.
- If your DACA status expires before March 5, 2018, USCIS must receive your application by October 5, 2017. That gives these DACA recipients only a few days to apply.
